Hi there!  Constructivecomment
This is for ProjectComment's Tagline #37, and my word was Powerful.

This is a really cool drawing, the characters are very well defined and intriguing. The background is cool and well done, adding to the picture without distracting from the main subjects.
The center character's robe/cloak is fantastic!  :)  I would definitely say it's one of my favorite parts of this piece. The way it sweeps off to the side adds a lot of movement to the picture and makes it more visually pleasing, and the tears and tattered parts are well drawn, well placed, and add a lot of character.

One thing I would like to point out would be the center character's body posture and robe. While I really like how the robe flows about, it does make it a little hard to tell where his legs and arms are, and that makes it look like he's floating. We can see part of his leg between parts of the robe and his foot beneath it, but the robe in-between makes it hard to realize the two are supposed to connect. I would say to add some more detailing in his posture so the eye automatically takes in more of where his limbs are and what his stance is.
Here's links for a couple pictures of pictures of what I mean:

In these you can see that on the side of the characters that the wind is coming from, their clothing is pulled tighter to their body because the wind is pushing it towards them. This defines that side of the body more and you can portray more detail like the bend of the knee, where the hips are, and so on. Then the other side of the body gets taken over more by the flow of the cloth. This would also help to add some more depth to the character.

Adding some more shading to the cloak would also help to add depth and movement.

But like I said, this is a fantastic piece! Very cool characters, and the placement and detailing is all really well done.
This would actually be really neat to see in color as well! :D
I like how in the background you did the details and shading lighter than the rest of the picture so, as I said above, it really adds to the picture without distracting too much from the main subject.
Hope this was helpful.  :)
You did a great job with this piece!
Now, to continue the tag, it's your turn to go to SolarLunix's gallery and find something Lovely!
